Golf Solitaire Cube Game Rules
Game Goal
Golf Solitaire Cube is a fast-paced solitaire variant with a competitive twist.
The goal of the game is simple: score more points than your opponent to win!
Basic Rules:
-
Move all of the upper Table cards to the lower Foundation stack.
-
Table cards must be one higher or one lower than the top Foundation card to be moved.
-
Draw new cards from the Draw pile when you run out of moves.
-
Use the Free Cell to save cards and keep your streaks going.
-
Use Undo if you make a mistake. Only the most recent move can be undone.
-
Clear all cards from the Table to end the match.
-
Each match has a 3 minute time limit.
Fairness
Each match of Golf Solitaire Cube is played against another player to see who can get the highest score.
-
You are matched against players of similar skill, but you may not be playing at the same time.
-
Both players play the same shuffle. All cards are in the same order.
-
Clear more cards from the Table faster than your opponent to win!
Scoring
Scores in Golf Solitaire Cube can vary a lot depending on the shuffle. Any score over 4,000 is awesome!
If you’re able to clear the entire Table you’ll score 3,625 points, anything above that is from the Streaks and Time bonuses.
There are three sources of points in Golf Solitaire Cube:
-
Base Score
-
Streaks
-
Time Bonus
Base Score:
-
+50 points for each card moved to the Foundation.
-
Each full stack cleared awards bonus points:
-
1st stack = +100 points
-
Each subsequent stack increases in value by +25 points.
-
-
+400 points for clearing the final stack, a.k.a. “Perfect Game Bonus”
Streaks:
-
Bonus points for clearing multiple cards in a row without drawing.
-
Using the Free Cell does not break streaks.
-
+10 points for each new streak level reached.
-
e.g. streak level 1 is worth +10 points, streak level 5 is worth +50 points.
-
-
Streak levels increase depending on how long the streak is:
-
Every three cards for streaks under 10 cards
-
Every two cards for streaks between 10 and 20 cards
-
Every card for streaks over 20 cards
-
Time Bonus:
-
+4 points per second remaining on the timer.
-
Bonus is reduced if you have not cleared all cards from the Table.
-
Scales up quickly with the first cards solved, then slows down.
-
It is always better to solve more cards.
Strategy
Here are some general tips to help you succeed:
-
The timer is paused until you make a move. Use this time to develop a strategy.
-
Always try to plan a few moves ahead, especially as you near clearing the Table.
-
Keep track of which cards have been played. If you need a specific card to clear the board, try to save it in the Free Cell.
-
Aces connect to Kings and Twos.
The real key to victory is clever use of the Free Cell:
-
Can be used to clear two of the same value card.
-
For example, drawing a 5, clearing a 4, moving the 4 to the Free Cell, then clearing a second 4.
-
-
Can be used to keep streaks alive.
-
For example, with a 5 in the Foundation and a 6 in the Free Cell, you can make a streak from 4 to A, then move the 6 back to the Foundation for a streak of 7 to Queen.

There are many more uses to discover! Experiment and find them all.
You can also play cash games to watch replays and learn your opponent's strategies.
Finally, practice makes perfect! Golf Solitaire Cube is a game of skill; the better you are, the more you win.
