Moneyball Game Rules
Game Goal
Moneyball is a simple and fun arcade basketball shooter right in your hands.
The goal of the game is simple: score more points than your opponent to win!
Basic Rules:

Drag to aim your shot.

Shoot the balls into the baskets to score points.

The match ends when you run out of balls or run out of time.
-
Each match has a 2 minute time limit.
Fairness
Each match of Moneyball is played against another player to see who can get the highest score.

You are matched against players of similar skill, but you may not be playing at the same time.
-
Placement of baskets and bonus stars is random but is the same for both players.

Shoot better and faster than your opponent to win!
How to Play
Shooting:
-
Tap and drag to aim your shot.

Release to sink it into the basket.

Make use of walls to bank your shot for extra points.
-
Avoid the rim and score a swish for extra points.
Stages:
-
As you score more baskets, you progress through stages.
-
Baskets get more difficult, and rewarding, in higher stages.
Moneyball:
-
The Moneyball is your last ball.
-
Sinking shots with the Moneyball rewards extra points.
Scoring
A great Moneyball score is anything over 200 points. If you can score over 300 points, you belong in the Moneyball Hall of Fame!
There are two sources of points in Moneyball:

Game Score

Ball Bonus
Game Score:
-
Determined by shots, powerups, and stage bonuses.
Shots & Balls:
-
+2 points for a basic shot with a regular ball.

+3 points for scoring a swish with a regular ball.
-
+1 point to your shot total for making a bank shot.
-
+1 point to your shot total for using the Moneyball.
-
A swish bank shot with the Moneyball scores +5 points total.
Powerups:
-
Powerups reward bonus points or multipliers when hit.
-
Blue Stars award +1 point.
-
Yellow Stars award +2 points.

Blue Rings award a 2x multiplier to your shot total.
Stage Bonuses:

+5 points for each new stage reached.
Ball Bonus:

Bonus points for every ball left at the end of the game.

+2 points for each regular ball remaining.
-
+3 points for preserving the Moneyball.
Strategy
-
Initially, try to preserve as many balls as possible.
-
When you get better, sacrifice your normal balls and use the Moneyball through the entire game for extra points.

Always go for bank shots and swishes once you get the hang of aiming.
-
Always go for the greatest powerup but don’t sacrifice balls in the process.

There’s no time bonus but the faster you can shoot the more points you score.

Make use of bank shots to dodge obstacles and score more points.
You can also play cash games to watch replays and learn your opponent's strategies.
Finally, practice makes perfect! Moneyball is a game of skill; the better you are, the more you win.
