Party Blast Game Rules
Game Goal
Party Blast is a fast-paced collapsing block game that will put your skills to the test.
The goal of the game is simple: score more points than your opponent and win!
Basic Rules:

-
Tap groups of 5 or more Tiles to make Power-ups.
-
Clear Objectives from the board by tapping tiles next to them or using Power-ups.
-
Clear all Objectives to end the match.
-
Each match has a 3 minute time limit.
Fairness
Each match of Party Blast is played against another player to see who can get the highest score.
-
You are matched against players of similar skill, but you may not be playing at the same time.
-
Both players get the same board shape with the same Objectives.
-
Placement of Tiles is randomized each match but is the same for both players.
Power-ups
Power-ups appear in the same space as the Tile you tapped to create them, so think carefully about where you want the Power-up to appear.

Scoring
For all boards, great scores will generally fall in the 8,000-9,000 point range. Any score over 10,000 is amazing!
There are three sources of points in Party Blast:
-
Base Score
-
Power-up Meter
-
Time Bonus
Base Score:
-
Earned by clearing Objectives.
-
Each board has 1,200 points divided evenly between all of the Objectives, rounded to 5.

Base Score Bonuses:
-
Receive Double Points for each Objective cleared after the first in the same move.
-
Receive a Combo Bonus for clearing at least five Objectives in the same move:
-
5 Objectives = +10 points
-
10 Objectives = +25 points
-
15 Objectives = +50 points
-
20 Objectives = +100 points
-
Power-up Meter:
-
Filled by using Power-ups.
-
Multiplies your Base Score based on which Star is reached:
-
1st Star = 2x Base Score
-
2nd Star = 3x Base Score
-
3rd Star = 4x Base Score
-
-
Stronger Power-ups fill the meter faster, Power-up Combos fill it the fastest.
-
Each board requires a different number of Power-ups to be used in order to fill the meter.
-
Keep your eyes on it and make sure you’ve filled it before clearing all Objectives!
Time Bonus:
-
+10 points per second for each second remaining.
-
Time Bonus is not multiplied by the Power-up Meter.
Strategy
To get a high score, follow these four simple steps:
-
Combine groups of 5 or more same color blocks to create Power-ups.
-
Use Power-ups to clear as many Objectives as possible with each move.
-
Before clearing all Objectives, completely fill the Power-up Meter.
-
Do all three steps above as quickly as possible.
The largest contributor to your score is the Power-up Meter:
-
Has the potential to quadruple your Base Score by completely filling it.
-
Always make sure that you fill the Power-up Meter before clearing all Objectives.
The next largest source of points is your Base Score:
-
Use Power-ups to clear as many Objectives as possible with each move.
-
This not only rewards Double Points for each Objective cleared after the first, but can also reward a much larger Combo Bonus.
-
Try to avoid clearing Objectives with Tile matches so there are more Objectives left on the board to clear as part of a Combo.
You can also play cash games to watch replays and learn your opponent's strategies.
Finally, practice makes perfect! Party Blast is a game of skill; the better you are, the more you win.
