Texas Solitaire Game Rules
Game Goal
Texas Solitaire Cube is like Texas Hold ‘Em Poker meets Solitaire.
The goal of the game is simple: score more points than your opponent to win!
Basic Rules:

Texas Solitaire Cube is all about making Poker hands.

Combine the Hole Cards and the upper Shared Cards to make the best hands.

You score points for all four hands in each round, not just the best one.

Make use of the Undo button to better plan your hands.
-
Each match uses a single 52 card deck.
-
Each match has a 3 minute time limit.
Fairness
Each match of Texas Solitaire Cube is played against another player to see who can get the highest score.

You are matched against players of similar skill, but you may not be playing at the same time.
-
Both players play the same shuffle. All cards are in the same order.

Make better Poker hands faster than your opponent to win!
How to Play
Making Hands:
-
Move cards from the lower Draw Pile to the four middle Hole Card stacks.

Each Hole Card stack can hold two cards.
-
There are five upper Shared Cards that are revealed as the round progresses.
-
Hole Cards combine with the Shared Cards to make complete Poker hands.
Undo:
-
If you make a mistake use the Undo Button.
-
Unlimited number of uses, but only undoes the most recent action.

Allows for peeking at face down Shared Cards. Use this to adapt your strategy!
Rounds:

There are four rounds in each match.

Rounds end and hands are counted after placing two cards in each Hole stack.
Scoring
Texas Solitaire Cube scores vary depending on how the cards come out, good scores range between 7,000 and 8,000, scores past 8,000 are great!
There are two sources of points in Texas Solitaire Cube:

Based on the hands you make during the match.

Higher ranked hands with higher ranked cards score more.

There’s nine total different hands ranging from 4000 to 75 points:

Royal Flush = +4000 Points

Straight Flush = +3000 Points

Four of a Kind = +2000 Points
-
Full House = +900 Points
-
Flush = +700 Points
-
Straight = +500 Points
-
Three of a Kind = +300 Points
-
Two Pair = +175 Points
-
One Pair = +75 Points
-

You also get points for the highest card in each hand:

High card bonuses are linear.
-
Starting at 75+ points for Aces, 70+ points for Kings, 65+ points for Queens, etc.

Ending at 15+ points for 2s.

Extra points are added for the highest kicker card in hands with fewer than five scoring cards:

Kicker card bonuses are linear as well.
-
Starting at 14+ points for Aces 13+ points for Kings 12+ points for Queens, etc.

Ending at 2+ points for 2s.

You receive a score multiplier in rounds three and four.

Round Three = +25%

Round Four = +50%

Time Bonus

+4 points per second remaining when you finish.

Time is important but don’t rush! The points awarded from a great hand significantly outweigh the time bonus.
Strategy

You score points on all four hands, so don’t bet everything on just one.

Know your Poker hands! A good knowledge of the different hands is essential.

Take your time! A good hand is more important than the time bonus any day.

Utilize the Undo Button to peek ahead at the shared cards.
Tracking Cards:

To really dominate your matches, a basic understanding of card tracking is key.

You don’t need to track all 52 cards, but loosely tracking the cards is very helpful.

If a certain suit or face has been overused, incorporate this into your strategy
You can also play cash games to watch replays and learn your opponent's strategies.
